The sun rising, the mist dissipating, I had little time to compose this shot. With a brief few seconds to spare, I ran with a heavy 500mm prime lens, a large camera bag and tripod to get the distance needed for my telephone lens to frame this scene. Two young red stags spar in the brilliant morning light in preparations for more deadly battles ahead.
